Bruce Johnson

Bruce  has advised some of the wealthiest and most successful families in the  world. His clients have included governments in Romania, China, Turkey,  Canada, and Qatar, as well as, members of the royal family in Saudi  Arabia and billionaire families and their family offices in Canada,  Europe, and Qatar. 

Bruce  is also an investor with international entrepreneurial and legal  experience. Originally from Montreal, Bruce has lived in Qatar for the  last 12 years. His first entrepreneurial venture in the early 2000s was  in the theatre and motion picture business. He then practiced law, where  he notably specialized in the financing of new build nuclear power  plants and mining projects, in Canada and Qatar with some of Canada’s  largest international law firms. 

In  2018, he began dedicating his time to investing and originating  business opportunities for m3ei Capital, a British Virgin Islands, and  Qatar-based merchant bank that focuses on investing in and incubating  companies with high growth potential or EBITDA of between 300K and 3M  USD. m3ei Capital successfully exited its first investment, a mining  project in Saudi Arabia, in early 2022.

Bruce  is a non-practicing member of the New York and Ontario bars. He holds  LL.L./MBA and LL.B. degrees from the University of Ottawa and an LL.M.  degree from Cornell University Law School. In 2012, Bruce was awarded,  Queen Elizabeth II’s Diamond Jubilee Medal for his exceptional service  to Canada internationally.
